Badè Museum of Biblical Archaeology
The Badè Museum houses a permanent collection of over 8,000 objects, the majority of which derive from the site of Tell en-Nasbeh, excavated under the direction of Dr. William F. Badè. Dr. Badè's work at Tell en-Nasbeh represents one of the earliest scientific excavations in Palestine. With a permit from the British Mandate Government's Department of Antiquities, he spent five seasons at Nasbeh from 1926 to 1935. He excavated two thirds of the eight-acre mound exposing a small town that had been occupied primarily during the Iron Age (1200-586 BCE), Neo-Babylonian (625-539 BCE), and Persian Periods (550-330 BCE).
